INGREDIENTS :

1 lb ground pork
1 tbsp minced ginger
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 green onions, finely chopped
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp sesame oil
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
30 round dumpling wrappers
6 cups chicken or vegetable broth
2 cups chopped bok choy or spinach
Additional chopped green onions for garnish (optional)

☆Instructions

Prepare the Filling: In a mixing bowl, combine the ground pork, minced ginger, minced garlic, chopped green onions, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and black pepper. Mix until thoroughly combined.

Assemble the Dumplings: Place a small spoonful of the pork mixture in the center of each dumpling wrapper. Moisten the edges with water, fold the wrapper in half, and press to seal tightly.

Cook the Dumplings: Bring the chicken or vegetable broth to a gentle boil in a large pot. Carefully add the dumplings to the boiling broth, ensuring they don’t stick together. Cook for 5-8 minutes until the dumplings float to the surface and the filling is cooked through.

Add Greens: Stir in the chopped bok choy or spinach and let the soup simmer for an additional 2-3 minutes until the greens are tender.

Serve: Ladle the dumpling soup into bowls and garnish with additional chopped green onions if desired. Serve hot and enjoy!
